Goals

Goals

Upon entering the Associate in Fine Arts program at South Piedmont I established several SMART goals for myself. These are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-based goals. I have several goals for myself educationally, personally and professionally.

This page outlines some of the major goals I have set for myself and how I wish to achieve them through smaller goals over the years.

  • Long-term: To receive my Bachelor in Fine Arts Degree by the age of 25 from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).

    • Short-term: To complete my Associate in Fine Arts Degree at South Piedmont Community College (SPCC) in May 2017.​

  • Long-term: To receive my Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from UNCC by the age 25.

    • Short-term: Double majoring for an Associate in Business Administration Degree and Associate in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) by 2019.

  • Long-term: To travel at least 5 countries before I am 30 years old including France, Spain, Italy, Australia, and Netherlands. 

    •  Short-term: To study abroad with SPCC in April 2017 and visit France and Spain.

    • Short-term: Take the opportunity to study abroad once a year during my time at UNC Charlotte.​

  • Long-term: To explore all 50 states by age 25.

    • Short-term: Visit all surrounding states by the end of 2017.

    • Short-term: Visit Florida in Summer 2017.

  • Long-term: Produce an excellent portfolio displaying my works by 2019.

    • Short-term: Complete my Portfolio/ Resume class at SPCC by Spring 2017.

  • Long-term: To hold an exhibition of my own displaying my personal artistic works before 2020.

    • Short-term: To produce at least 20 works of art by 2018.​

    • Short-term: To obtain my own personal studio to work in by 2018. 

  • Long-term: To operate and run a successful business by 2025.

    • Short-term: Creating and perfecting a business plan by 2019.

    • Short-term: Begin my Associate in Business Administration by Fall 2017.

    • Short-term: Obtain my degrees in Business and Marketing and the additional certificates by 2019.
